Reserve a Facility’s Rental Space Using the Department's Internal Households

PARKS DIRECT's assigned internal households are for the Department to reserve other facility spaces in the Department.

For example, suppose the day camp at Rollingcrest-Chillum Community Center has planned a trip to Rollingcrest-Chillum Splash Pool. In this case, the community center's camp needs to use their assigned PARKS DIRECT internal household to reserve time at the pool.

The following process ensures the Parks and Recreation Department correctly allocates its funds and prevents double-booking. 

Sign in and go to the super grid

1. Sign in and select Global Sales on the sidebar menu.

2. Select HH Lookup on the Family Member Selection frame's upper-right corner, and PARKS DIRECT will open the Global Sales Lookup screen.

3. Enter Internal in the lookup box and press Enter on your keyboard. Next, highlight the community center’s internal household on the list and use the Select button. Select OK on the information pop-up.

To filter the list, enter the community center, organization, or other internal household into the First Name filter and press Enter on your keyboard.

4. Select Super Grid on the Global Sales frame. Next, from the Profile box’s drop-down, select the location where the community center or internal household is planning the visit.

Enter the reservation's details

5. Enter the reservation’s date in the Start date box. Select the box to view the calendar.

Use the Number of Days box to view additional days on the super grid. Choose a number from the dropdown list, and PARKS DIRECT will update the super grid with the number of days you picked.

6. Double-click the empty cell that lines up with the reservation's details on the Global Sales frame. The cell you choose should be on the rental space's row (for example Splash Pool) and under the correct date column.

You can fine-tune the reservation's time and date in the next step.

7. Update any necessary reservation details, like, start and end time, date, headcount, etc., in the Events Details pop-up window. Then select Add to Cart.

8. Enter a reservation in the Reservation Purpose box. Then select Continue.

Process the reservation

9. Select Payment on the Shopping Cart frame, and PARKS DIRECT will bring up the Global Sales Payment screen where you can process and finalize the reservation.
