Waitlist

Updated on

When an activity's section has reached capacity, users will no longer be able to register family members. Instead, PARKS DIRECT will open a prompt to add the family member to the section's waitlist.

Imagine you go to a section's roster and see that the section's programmer wants to move a client from the waitlist and into the section. There's room for one more participant in the program, and look, Chris is number one on the waitlist!

To add Chris to the section, highlight his name on the Family Member DataGrid, assuming you've entered Global Sales under his household.

Use the arrow at the top-right corner of the Global Sales frame and select the Waitlist tab. PARKS DIRECT will open a list of sections in which Chris's household is waitlisted.

Highlight the waitlisted section on the DataGrid.

At the bottom of the frame, there are three options:

  • Enroll from Waitlist - registers the family member
  • Cancel Waitlist Item - removes the family member from the waitlisted section
  • Change Waitlist Option - switches a family member to a different section

You can also view waitlisted items in Purchase History.

To enroll Chris, select Enroll from Waitlist and then Continue on the confirmation prompt that PARKS DIRECT opens. The section enrollment is added to the shopping cart with a free line item noting that the section's waitlist status has been removed. The next step is to proceed to Global Sales payment screen.

You can use bulk waitlist management in the Global Sales application to avoid pulling up waitlisted family members. Select Skip Household Lookup on the Global Sales Lookup screen to maintain the entire section's waitlist.

Use the arrow at the top right corner of the Global Sales frame and navigate to the waitlist tab. Expand the frame by using the icon on the top-right corner.

Using necessary filters and sorting methods, you can manage any waitlist. Select records by highlighting them on the DataGrid and process those records accordingly with the buttons at the bottom of the frame.
