The SuperGrid is great when it comes to processing facility reservations and rentals. In this article, you will learn how to navigate the SuperGrid, and how you can help customers, for example, reserve the patio at Prince George’s Ballroom or rent a kayak from Patuxent River Park.
The SuperGrid lists a facility’s rental options and reservation times.
1. Log in to PARKS DIRECT, and on the sidebar menu, go to Processing > SuperGrid Processing.
- You can also get to the SuperGrid by going to Processing > Global Sales.
2. Choose a household on the Global Sales Lookup datagrid then Select for a customer with a PARKS DIRECT account.
Customers must have a PARKS DIRECT account to book a facility or rental. They cannot check out as a Guest Household.
3. If your facility has more than one SuperGrid profile you can switch to it by selecting the box to the right of Profile.
The grid now displays your facility’s or park’s rental options and dates/times. Rentals that customers have already booked are represented by colored boxes that align with a customer's scheduled rental and time.
In the example below, rental options are down the left and dates/times are across the top. Depending on your facility's defaults, your grid might be flipped.
Select the Start Date box. Then choose the day on the pop-up calendar that you want on the left-most side of the grid.
Select the Number of Days box. Then choose a number on the dropdown to change the size of the grid.
In the example below, reservation blocks are all from 10 AM to 7 PM (at the top of a column is the reservation block’s starting time). Move your cursor over a booked amenity to see rental details like start and end times.
1. To create a new reservation block for a customer. Double-click on an empty space that lines up the rental option a customer would like to book.
2. On the pop-up, select the Resource box to change the rental option. Select the date and time boxes and change them to meet the customer's preferences. Then select Add to Cart.
PARKS DIRECT will not allow you to schedule over an existing rental. If you can't change the date/time, then another customer has already scheduled that rental time.
3. Check the checkbox under the customer’s name on the pop-up. Then select Continue.
4. Answer any required questions and select Continue.
5. Scroll down to the shopping cart where the rental should be. Then select the Payment button
6. Enter the Pay Code that matches the customer’s payment method. Enter the customer’s payment information and select Process.
