Link Coupons to a Product or Service

Coupon(s) need to be assigned/linked to a product or service (section, point-of-sale inventory item, trip, facility, etc.) before customers can use said coupon(s). Follow these steps to permit certain coupons for a product’s or service’s fee that you’re managing with RecTrac (PARKS DIRECT).

Find the product’s or service’s fee

Sign in to PARKS DIRECT and select the menu icon on the upper-left corner of the screen. Then select Management on the sidebar menu.

Choose the management program where your product or service is organized.

For this example, the item is a tote bag that’s under POS Management > Inventory Management.

Go to Parks Direct program categorization to see how products and services are organized.

Highlight the product or service on the datagrid and select Change on the bottom of the screen.

Use the column’s filters by entering information into the boxes then press Enter on your keyboard.

Select the Fees tab on the upper left of the product’s or service’s banner.

Highlight the product’s or service’s fee on the datagrid, then move down the screen and select Change > Change Fee.

Select the icon to the right of the Coupon List box. RecTrac will open the Coupon Management pop-up window.

Entering an asterisk (*) into the Coupon List box will link every coupon to the product or service.

On the picklist, highlight the coupons that customers can use for the product or service. Next, use the Select button on the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.

Select Save on the update screen’s bottom-left corner. Now customers can use the coupon(s) you've linked.
