Registering for an Activity Section

This article covers enrolling a client into an activity section through Global Sales.

To register a client for an activity, you must find that client in the database. You can NOT use the "Daily/Guest" household. Start by searching for the client using the Household Lookup button.

Use best search practices to find the client:

  • Key in a key FOB or ID card number and hit enter on the keyboard. OR
  • Type the phone number and click "Phone" OR
  • Type part of the last name, then a comma, then part of the first name with no spaces (example search for Ronnie Gathers: Gath,Ron)

Once a client is selected, you are returned to the main Global Sales page. Navigate to the desired section. Use filters to find what you're looking for easily (see tips at the bottom of this article). Click on sections to select them:

Click the Add to Cart button to register clients for sections.

You may select client(s) from the household frame before adding sections to the cart, but if no family member is selected, you will be prompted to select which clients are to be enrolled in your selected activity sections. You can simultaneously register multiple family members for multiple sections!

Activity sections are added to the cart. Continue adding registrations and take payment as necessary.

Tips for filtering the Activity Datagrid:

The order of the items appearing in a datagrid can be changed to focus on desired attributes. Perhaps seeing the Facility Location and Begin Date are more important than seeing the course type. Click the Options button at the top left corner of the datagrid and then Show Settings:

  • Click and drag the attributes to change their order in the datagrid
  • Uncheck the "Visible" checkbox to hid attributes you don't need to see

Close the window. Your datagrid will now show the attributes and order you selected.

Need to see more of the datagrid? Temporarily expand the from by clicking the "+" in the top right corner of the frame:

Use the section code to your advantage!

The first number represents the season:

  • 1 = Winter
  • 2 = Spring
  • 3 = Day Camp
  • 4 = Summer
  • 5 = Fall
  • 6 = School Year

The second two numbers represent the facility.

Find your facility code and you'll easily narrow down sections to any facility!
