Schedule internal reservations and maintenance jobs at facilities

To block off time at a facility's rental space for either an internal reservation (a meeting for example) or a maintenance repair (replacing a fire alarm for example), use the same process in PARKS DIRECT.

The following steps will also prevent double-booking public facility spaces.

Sign in and go to the super grid

1. Sign in and select Global Sales on the sidebar menu.

2. Select the Internal Household button near the bottom-left of the screen.

3. Use the right arrow (>) on the Global Sales frame and select Super Grid.

After selecting Super Grid, PARKS DIRECT should default to your location. If not, you'll need to select the correct location using the dropdown list next to Profile on the upper-left of the Global Sales frame.

4. Enter the internal use or maintenance reservation date in the Start Date box.

Use the Number of Days setting to see additional days on the super grid. Choose a number from the dropdown list, and PARKS DIRECT will update the super grid with the number of days you picked.

Process the time block

5. On the Global Sales frame, double-click a blank cell on the rental space's row (Classroom in the screenshot below) and date's column. Make sure the rental space is the one you're reserving for an internal reservation or maintenance job.

You can fine tune the reservation's time and date in the next step.

6. Update any necessary reservation details, like, start and end time, date, headcount, etc., in the Events Details pop-up window. Then select Add to Cart.

7. PARKS DIRECT will open the Questions screen. Enter a reservation description or the maintenance issue in Reservation Purpose box. Then select Continue.

8. Select Payment, and PARKS DIRECT will bring up the global sales payment screen.

You can add multiple reservations time-blocks to the cart before using the Payment button.

9. Select Process to complete the internal reservation.

The reservation should be  $0 since you are scheduling an internal reservation. If you have an additional cost associated with this transactions, redo the process or contact the Help Desk for assistance.
