Setting up a Workstation to Scan Memberships

One benefit to PARKS DIRECT is that users can conduct business at a workstation while simultaneously scanning membership passes with an application that runs in the background. Because of PARKS DIRECT's ability to multitask, there is no need have a dedicated workstation for scanning memberships.

Sign in to PARKS DIRECT and select the Processing > Pass Visit Processing on the sidebar menu.

PARKS DIRECT opens a visit processing window, and now the workstation is now ready to scan passes. You can continue to work at the workstation while scanning passes in the background.

Be careful! Always keep Pass Visit Processing open otherwise scans will not be processed.

Periodically, you can check the Visit Processing program. A visit list is created automatically as customers scan key FOBs or cards.

Visit Processing will highlight customers who need attention due to frozen account, expired pass, etc.
