Changing a Cross Reference (Xref)

A cross reference in PARKS DIRECT is a code that is assigned to a Family Member. It is the way that PARKS DIRECT identifies customers as the cross reference is unique for each individual.

  1. Enter Global Sales and find the account you want to change.
  2. Click More for the client you wish to modify.
  3. Then Click Edit Xref.

A datagrid of all existing cross references for the client appears.

Any SMARTlink clients with existing memberships that were transferred to PARKS DIRECT will have a cross reference of their SMARTlink Barcode. This means that their old SMARTlink cards will still work in PARKS DIRECT.

Click the appropriate action button:

When replacing a SMARTlink card with a key FOB, it is important to delete or replace the reference to the SMARTlink barcode number. Do NOT simply add a new reference.

The Cross Reference Update window appears when changing or adding an Xref. Scan a key FOB or key in the appropriate number:

Remember to click Save to save all updates.
