RecConnect reports will create mailing lists of customers that meet the conditions you choose. Want emails of everyone in classes at your facility? Want mailing addresses of everyone that took swim lessons in the last 3 years? RecConnect is for you!
From Report Output Listing, filter for "RecConnect" and choose the type of RecConnect mailing list you need:
There is a RecConnect for just about every module in RecTrac. Choose according to what customer group you're looking to contact (ex: Want to invite customers who purchased a daily drop in to sign up for an annual membership? Run a Pass Visit RecConnect).
Use the report parameters window to select items that qualify customers for being on your mailing list.
Example below will pull listing of customers who enrolled in any winter ceramics courses at Montpelier Cultural Arts Center.
Pay close attention to your filter settings as different toggles or selections can contradict themselves and result in a blank report! Examples:
- "Use Activity Section Range" is unchecked and you have also selected 0 items.
- Status of course is "canceled" and customer enrollment status is set to "enrolled"
- A date range filter doesn't align with courses selected.
Once you've selected your parameters, click Process at the bottom of the screen:

When running RecConnect reports, you can choose to filter out results based on a customer's previous RecConnect history. The prompt that appears will ask you to select those filters. Skip this step and click Continue.
When the RecConnect is finished, you'll get a notification. Click the option to Show Results.

Navigate the settings on the RecConnect results page:
- Process Email, make labels, or created printed letters.
- Customize email sender name.
- Set where any email replies are sent.
- Create Subject.
- Add custom dynamic content to email subject (ex: Customer Name).
- Free-form email drafting editor.
- Add custom dynamic content to email body (ex: Course details, customer name, etc.)
When you're ready, you can select and remove recipients as needed, and then process your RecConnect. Clicking the Process RecConnect button will execute sending emails:

Like all datagrids, you can export to .csv and work with your mailing list in another program if that's more comfortable than using the RecConnect interface.
