Head to Inventory Posting in Rectrac and in the drop-down menu select Post Reduction and select and open the item that needs updating.
Select the Sell QTY reduced option, and enter the number of items that will be taken away. At the bottom of the page in the Comments section, enter any additional information to track what happened to those items. Then click Process.
Select the item that you updated and click Report at the bottom, and then wait in the notification center for that report.
After a few moments, the report will be generated.
