Trip Registration

To register a client for a trip, you must find that client in the PARKS DIRECT database. You can NOT use the "Daily/Guest" household. Start by searching for the client using one of the best search practices listed below.

Best search practices to find the client:

  • Key in a key FOB or ID card number and hit enter on the keyboard. OR 
  • Type the phone number and click "Phone" OR
  • Type part of the last name, then a comma, then part of the first name with no spaces (example Willi, Lau for Williams, Laura)

Once a client is selected, you will be directed to Global Sales page. Hit the greater-than sign on the screen to move the screen to the right to display the Trip tab.

A list of all active trips will display.

If you don’t know the date of the trip or the offering facility, you can type in the name of the trip in the short description box. 

The Trip Code SPLEX-20220715 the first part “SPLEX” is the offering facility of the trip. The second part “20220715” is the date the trip takes place in YYYY/MM/DD format. Use the Trip Code Cheat Sheet for additional information.

For this example, we are going to register Adult Hermes for the Summer Jazz Festival trip. The trip is on July 15, 2022, and leaves from the Sports and Learning Complex. The trip for this example will be no charge.

Once you find the trip, select it, check the box next to the name of the person you want to register for it, and select add to cart. Customers can be enrolled in multiple trips at a time. Once all the desired trips have been selected, click payment and proceed with the check-out process.  

If you want to filter trips by community center, simply type in the abbreviation of the community center in the Trip Code box.

Select the type of payment under the Pay Code, ask the customer if they want the receipt printed or emailed. Select Process
