What does that EAM Status' Mean?

This table below will guide users of EAM on what the work request/order statuses mean.

EAM Status Definition
Work Request A request for service has been submitted and needs to be routed via maintenance staff
Released

USED ONLY FOR System Created Work Orders 

Created from the system for routine or preventantive work events such as:

  • Trash removal 
  • Mowings 
  • Regular inspections of particular properties / systems 
Awaiting Approval Work request has been evaluatd and is in-scope. 
It’s awaiting the availablity of Trades staff by respective maintenance division to review and address
Approved Work Order is in Scope of a Division and assigned to staff to address work    
Deferred / On-Hold

A postponement event was made during the work effort by staff or their management where they may need either: 

  • additional equipment
  • specific personnel 

and / or 

  • additional planning to address the work effort
Completed - Field Completed 

Work is done by Field/Trade Staff; however, Quality Assurance is needed from management to make it complete.

**Field/Trade Staff can still make updates to the Work Order**

Completed

Work has been completed by Field/Trade staff and has been Quality Assured by their management.

**No further changes can be made to this Work Order**

Cancelled or Rejected

Work requested is not in scope with Maintenance Program, created in error or the request addressed in another manner i.e., another work order or other process/procedure

**No further changes can be made to this Work Order**
