Residency pricing policy

Updated on

Prince George’s Parks and Recreation applies resident discounts and impact area discounts on most offerings -- programs, memberships, picnic shelters, golf reservations, etc.

In PARKS DIRECT, non-resident and impact area fees are relative to corresponding resident fees. In other words, PARKS DIRECT is set up to automatically update the non-resident and impact area fee based on the resident fee.

Non-Resident (NR) applies to anyone who is not a Prince George’s County or Montgomery County resident. Some offerings, like picnic shelters, are unavailable to non-residents.

Resident (R) applies to Prince George’s County and Montgomery County residents. Residents receive a 30 percent discount on all offerings.

Impact Area (IA) applies to Prince George’s County residents who live within the county-defined area surrounding the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex. In addition to the resident discount on all offerings, impact area residents receive a 55 percent discount on programs held at the Sports & Learning Complex.
