How to tell if a household has Fee Assistance

Here are two ways to check a customer’s Fee Assistance status and Fee Assistance discount percentage.

Not every purchase through PARKS DIRECT is eligible for Fee Assistance. Use this link to see which programs are eligible.

1. Use Household Inquiry

Sign in to PARKS DIRECT. Then select Inquiry > Household Inquiry on the sidebar menu.

Now you need to find the customer’s household. You can enter the customer’s last name into the Household Inquiry box and then select the Household Last Name button.

Next, Highlight the customer’s household on the Family Member DataGrid and select Passes, among the plethora of buttons on the bottom of the DataGrid. Proceed through any prompt that PARKS DIRECT might open.

Use the filters, like First Name, to narrow the list of households on the DataGrid.

Type fee into the Description filter, then press Enter on your keyboard.

You will see the customer’s Fee Assistance discount percentage listed if they have been accepted into Fee Assistance. Check the Status column to verify whether their Fee Assistance is active or expired.

Fee Assistance lasts for one year. Go to this article to help customers if they need to reapply.

2. Use Purchase History in Global Sales

Below is another method for checking a customer's Fee Assistance status.

Sign in to PARKS DIRECT, then select Global Sales on the sidebar menu.

Now you need to find the customer’s household. You can enter the customer’s last name into the Global Sales Lookup box and select Household Last Name.

Next, Highlight the customer’s household on the Household DataGrid, then use the Select button on the bottom-left of the DataGrid. Proceed through any prompt that PARKS DIRECT might open.

Use the filters, like First Name, to narrow the list of households on the DataGrid.

Select the Purchase History tab.

You might need to use the arrow on the top-right corner of the Global Sales frame to scroll over to the tab.

Type fee into the Description filter, then press Enter on your keyboard.

You will see the customer’s Fee Assistance and discount percentage listed if the customer has been accepted into Fee Assistance. Check the Status column to verify whether the customer’s Fee Assistance is active or expired.

Pending Fee Assistance

When customers' Fee Assistance applications are pending, they are entitled to a temporary 10 percent discount on Fee Assistance eligible programs. Go to this article to see how to process a sale when the customer has a pending Fee Assistance application.
