New licenses issued by the state of Maryland no longer include the county code. When presented with a license (or other verification document) with no county visible, staff should use the following process to properly set up a PARKS DIRECT account. 

Use the Zip Code Lookup Tool found at https://tools.usps.com/zip-code-lookup.htm?byaddress to determine the correct county for any clients.

1. Click the URL above to go to the USPS website. Enter the client’s full address and click Find. 

2. Click on the drop-down arrow to view the full address with county. 

3. Update household category in PARKS DIRECT accordingly.
