Creating Inventory Items

Once logged into RecTrac on the Menu tab start from Management tab, select POS Management, then Inventory Management

The Default Record Add screen will appear, press Continue

Fill in the mandatory fields under the Core tab

All items in red must be completed.

Move on to the Fees tab

Pick the appropriate fee and then click Create Set Template

Usually, POS Inventory items are taxable merchandise.

Click the fee you just added and select Change Fee

Update the fee details as appropriate

  1. Enter a Fee Description
  2. Enter an Amount to charge
  3. Does the fee include tax or will tax be additional (check the box if tax is included)?
  4. Click Save.

Click Save at the bottom of the item update window.
