Training Calendar How To's

The Training Calendar provides staff with robust training opportunities offered by the Commission. In this guide, you will find helpful resources to navigate the Training Calendar. 

To access the Training Calendar, you must be at a M-NCPPC location and connected to the Network, or to connect remotely, you must contact ITS for DAAS access.

How to Create an Account to Access to the Training Calendar

1. Go to the Training Calendar page, then click on Create an Account.

2.  Complete the account registration form, then click on Register.

ALERT: You will only need to complete the registration form one time. 

  • Your Employee ID Number
  • Your first name
  • Your last name
  • Your work Phone Number
  • Department you work in
  • Set your Password
  • Your work email address
  • Your supervisor's name
  • Your supervisor's email address

After you have clicked on Register, you will have  successfully created your training account.

How to Log In and Register for Training

1.  Go to the Training Calendar, then click on Sign in to log into the system.

2. Click on View Calendar.

3. Click on the Training you want to attend to open the training's detail and registration window.

4. Click Sign Up 

5. Click on the Sign Up button to complete registration.

6. Confirmation of Registration screen will load, and you will receive a confirmation email.

Courses are color-coded  and managed by each respective Department. Please see the Department Legend below.

 For instance, courses in RED are open to Prince George's County Department of Parks & Recreation staff. To register in another Department's classes, please connect with the contact person on the training

Steps to Cancel Enrollment for a Previously Registered Class

1. Go to the Training Calendar, then click on Sign in to log into the system.

2. Once logged in, click on View Profile.

Go to the Student History section, then view the Registered Classes-­‐Not Reconciled section.

3.  To cancel you registration, click the Cancel button next to the listed class.

Congratulations, you have successfully canceled your registration in the class.

Steps to Access Your Employee Training Transcript

1. Go to the Training Calendar, then click on Sign in to log into the system.

2. Once logged in, click on View Profile.

3. On the Training Calendar Staff Administration page, click the Download Transcript [pdf].

4. Your file will automatically open in a separate window and will appear as a PDF file. Download the file to retain a copy for your records.  

Steps to Add External Training Courses to Your Training Transcript

1.  Go to the Training Calendar, then click on Sign in to log into the system

2. Once logged in, click on View Profile.

3. Go to the Student History section, then select External Classes from the title menu.

4. Click on Add External Training to access the event page.

5. On the event page, complete the following information fields:


  • Training Name: (Name of Class)
  • Training Start Date
  • Training End Date
  • Total Hours: (Combined total hours of training)
  • Training Category: (Select from drop down menu)
  • Description: (Provide brief description of course) Location
  • Website: (provide link to website related to the training course)

6. Enter the following items in the Instructor Information section, click on Add External Event when completed.

  • Training Provider Instructor
  • Phone, and Email
  • Training Certificate or Verification of course completion

You must upload your Training Certificate or Course Completion Verification from your computer. If it was issued as a paper document, you must scan the document, save it to your computer, then upload it to your account.
