Courier and Mail Operations Overview with FAQs

The Courier & Mail Operations team delivers and picks up multiple types of packages within Prince George’s County, Department of Parks and Recreation. The team handles inter-office mail, Print orders, Zip Mail, USPS mail & packages, and UPS packages.

Q: When is the Courier service available?

A: Monday- Friday (8:00 am-2:30 pm)

Q: Can I receive or have a package delivered after normal Courier hours?

A: Contact Anthony Coates for special Inquiries (301-446-3060)

Q: How often do the couriers deliver to my location?

A: Couriers deliver to each location on their routes daily. If your stop is missed, you will receive proper communication. If you do not receive any communication, contact Anthony Coates.

Q: Can my FedEx or Amazon packages be delivered through the couriers?

A: FedEx, no we do not deliver any FedEx packages. Amazon, only if the packages are pre-labeled for delivery via USPS or UPS.

Q: Do the couriers deliver orders from the Recreation Warehouse?

A: Yes, the couriers pick up and deliver orders from the Recreation Warehouse daily.

Q: What if I receive the wrong items or quantity in my order?

A: For print jobs, contact Dante Bryant (301-446-3060). For Recreation Warehouse orders, contact Kelvin Carter (301-918-2200).

Q: Does Office Services provide Inter-office envelopes?

A: Inter-office envelopes are purchased solely by each facility. Office Services is not responsible for ordering inter-office envelopes. However, if Office Services has inter-office envelopes in stock, we can provide them upon request.

Q: How long does it take for my inter-office envelopes to be delivered?

A: All mail will be delivered one business day after it’s received.

Q: When will my USPS mail be delivered to the post office?

A: All mail will be delivered one business day after it’s received.
