Work Order - Quick Entry is a more streamlined way to submit requests for service and more simplified than the Work Request screen. Users will have to fill out the 5 mandatory fields and hit save.
Users will navigate to the Work Menu in EAM and select WO - Quick Entry.

- The Equipment (Asset/Park) requires the ID of the Park or assets needed to be addressed.
- In the Status Field, please select the status Awaiting Approval.
- In the Type Field, is where users will define the type if it's a Breakdown Fix or Service Request.
- In the Class Field, select the appropriate type of work needed for the facility or asset. Click here for Work Order Classes
- Click on the Save Icon
NOTE: If unsure of what class to use, please enter or select the Buildings and Facilities (BLD-FAC) class.
Should requests be needed for either the Exhibit Shop (EXH) GreenHouse (GHTF), please have the Type as Service Request.
1. The Upload Document button allows users to attach items to better assist with their requests. It's similar to the process for attaching documents in the Work Request screen.
It is recommended to upload image files (.png, .jpeg) or PDF document files into EAM. Due to storage constraints, DO NOT upload videos or zip files.
2. The Comment button allows users to type in more detail of what's need for the request.
- Assigned To is not mandatory. The assignment is based off the class selected see here
- Backup Person(s) are additional requestors or persons who should be notified about service requests.
This is ideal for any committee assignments or other group efforts within a division / work program.
